Meet the Artist

Hello! I’m Mel, the artist behind mellipops. I am a part-time illustrator. My cat, Blue, is my product manager; I like to make sure he approves all products before they make their way to my shop.

I used to draw lots of comics and fill sketchbooks when I was younger, but college and then just life came about. I am in the special education field and I use art and doodles to make things for my students. Art and I re-connected along the way and I committed myself to making it a part of my life again.
